Atharna is Qatar Museums' annual archaeology series, and this second edition presents Life and Death in Pre-Islamic Qatar, with finds from Neolithic and pre-Islamic burial mounds across the country.
Visitors start outdoors at a reconstructed burial mound and an archaeology tent, then enter an indoor space with weapons, jewellery and other grave objects. The show also covers conservation and bioarchaeology, including ancient DNA and skeletal research.
