The exhibition brings Giuseppe Penone's pavilions, sculptures and outdoor installations to the National Museum of Qatar, covering works from 1969 to the present. It explores the link between organic and artistic processes and between people and nature.
The works use wood, iron, bronze, clay and marble, and a new public sculpture, Idee di Pietra, has been installed at Doha Old Port. The curators are Hans Ulrich Obrist and Issa Al Shirawi.
